Christine is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) based in St. Louis, Missouri. Christine holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in Art Therapy from the University of Louisville. Christine specializes in using expressive techniques to treat anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and trauma in children, teens, and adults. Christine is trained in OCD and BFRBs, and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Self-Compassion, Mindfulness and Strength-Based approaches in her practice.

Christine previously worked as an intensive in-home therapist in the family preservation and reunification division of a high acuity non-profit organization in Louisville, Kentucky. Throughout the pandemic, she dedicated herself to assisting families involved in the child welfare system. Whether supporting children and teens in coping or aiding single parents in navigating parenthood, her mission was to guide individuals in rediscovering themselves, fostering self-confidence, and instilling belief in their capabilities. Prior to this, Christine gained clinical experience in the private school setting, working with children and teens with language-based learning disorders, ADHD, and anxiety. This diverse background has contributed to her development of a trauma-sensitive and compassionate approach in her current practice.

As a person-centered therapist, Christine values individual stories and experiences. In a safe and supportive environment, she will help you to explore your thoughts and emotions through the combination of creativity and conversation. While her specialization lies in art therapy, she utilizes talk therapies just as much. Sometimes a combination of both can help us to access memories and emotions that may be challenging to express verbally. Whether through art, behavioral therapies, or strength based techniques, Christine will guide you in a journey of self-discovery.

Christine is open to working with any age group. Christine is supervised by Natalie Coriell, LPC, ATR-BC MO #2010016638 who can be reached at natalie@nataliecoriell.com and will be overseeing care for all of Christine’s clients
