Empowerment and Self-Esteem Skills Workshop for Girls Ages 8-11

A 5-week, in person workshop for girls who struggle with lack of confidence.

She is not alone in struggling with self doubt and confidence.

This 5-week, in person workshop is for anyone ages 8-11 who identifies as female or nonbinary that aims to create a safe and non judgmental environment & community. This ongoing series empowers daughters to strive towards building their confidence by learning to cope with symptoms of low self-esteem.

In this ongoing group your daughter will…

  • Identify negative thoughts and learn how to change these thoughts to positive thoughts
  • Learn healthy communication skills
  • Learn self empowerment skills
  • Increase independence 
  • Learn and practice healthy coping skills such as mindfulness to cope with negative feelings 
  • Gain support from those who also struggle with self-esteem and confidence in a safe and supportive environment
When: 5 Saturdays, 10-11am: October 14th, 21st, November 4th, 11th, & 18th
Where: In person, The Center for Mindfulness & CBT
Cost: $100 for all 5 sessions
Led by: Sarah Roach, BSW, MSW candidate

Sarah is an intern at the Center for Mindfulness and CBT, has her bachelor’s in social work degree, and is currently working on completing her Master’s of social work at The University of Missouri St. Louis. She is passionate about empowering others and challenging them to begin their journal in mental health. Sarah provides services for children, teens, and young adults who struggle with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and stress/coping. She is under the supervision of Sarah Saffold, LCSW.
