This 6-week Teen LGBTQIA+ Group will use art-based and communication-based activities to complement the supportive peer environment. Process groups are typically unstructured which means there isn’t a specific topic for each group session, but some of the groups may be focused on a particular theme or the group may be targeted to a specific group of individuals (e.g., women, men, or older students). Members are welcome to bring any issues to the group that they feel are important, and the primary focus of therapy in the group is on the interactions among group members. Members are encouraged to give support and feedback to others, and to work with the reactions and responses that other members’ contributions bring up for them.
6 Sessions:
Tuesdays, April 25th to May 30th, 2023
7:30 to 8:45pm.
This is a closed enrollment group (meaning all 6 sessions must be paid for with intentions to attend) to allow an intimate and shared experience for each individual.
