“Change your thoughts and you’ll change your world.”
Norman Vincent Peal

Brigette is a Graduate Student at Webster University earning her Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She received her bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Missouri. Brigette is in the practicum/ intern stage of her Master’s program and will be under the supervision of Jeremy Shuman, Psy.D. Coming from a background in community mental health, Brigette has experience working with a diverse population and serving diverse needs. She believes everyone has a story to tell and it deserves to be heard. Her areas of interest are CBT and TF-CBT, but she is ready and open to learn from the therapists at the Center to help guide her in her career.

Brigette is in her second year of graduate school at Webster University. She is interested in working with adolescents and young adults struggling with things like anxiety, stress, relationship concerns and life transitions. She uses a person centered approach and CBT. Because she is an intern, Brigette does not directly charge for her services, and therefore the center is able to offer these services for a lower fee.
