Parker is a counselor in training (CIT) working under the supervision of Laura Chackes, Psy.D. He completed a year and a half long internship at Creve Coeur Counseling Associates from 2025-2026 and then joined our staff after graduating with his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindenwood University. Parker is passionate about exploring emotions and utilizing imagery/metaphors to process life’s difficulties. He also believes in creating a non-judgmental and comfortable space to promote growth and healing. He primarily treats clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and he additionally has a strong interest in helping clients explore their purpose.

Parker approaches therapy as a collaborative time with his clients and highly values client input to guide the course of therapy in addition to following research in the field and evidence-based practices. He uses an eclectic therapy approach by incorporating multiple therapy modalities to best fit the presenting concerns and client preferences. His main modalities used include person-centered therapy, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and Gestalt therapy.

Parker sees adults and older teens (14+) during their individual therapy sessions. As a counselor in training, Parker is able to offer services at a rate of $120/session.
