Mona Delahooke

Veronica is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) at The Center for Mindfulness & CBT. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at Mississippi University for Women and a Master of Arts Degree in School Counseling at Lindenwood University.  She is also a full-time Behavioral Health Therapist via St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Veronica’s current role as a Behavioral Health Therapist is embedded within an elementary school where she provides onsite individual and group counseling services to children in grades K-3. 

She believes in giving children a voice and a safe space to heal by unlocking their potential using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Veronica also incorporates multiple therapeutic techniques to accommodate the client and their current needs.  Prior to joining The Center for Mindfulness & CBT, Veronica worked for the Missouri Division of Behavioral Health in the Adult Community Operations department. She completed extensive evidence based reviews for Community Mental Health Centers in the Eastern Region of Missouri as well as Forensic Reviews at the Psychiatric Hospitals. She specializes in treating children and adolescents with trauma, anxiety, ADHD, social and emotional learning and behavioral concerns. Veronica is able to accept most Cigna and Aetna insurance plans.

Veronica is supervised by Alexandra Kohnen, LPC MO #2019039112 who can be reached at alex@mindfulstl.com and will be overseeing care for all of Veronica’s clients.
