MSW, LCSW
Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a deep passion for supporting individuals through emotional challenges and helping them build healthier, more balanced lives. She earned my Master’s in Social Work from Saint Louis University, where she developed a strong foundation in mental health and therapeutic practices. She then completed a post-graduate fellowship in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) at the St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute, honing in on her skills in evidence-based techniques for emotional regulation and building a life worth living.
With a particular passion for working with adolescents, Nicole also provides therapy for children and adults. She believes in meeting clients where they are, offering a flexible, individualized approach tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, non-judgmental, and down-to-earth—more like a best friend than a traditional therapist. She works best with clients who are seeking an open, safe, and supportive space to explore their emotions, navigate challenges, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes.
Nicole uses a variety of therapeutic techniques, including DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices, ensuring that each approach is customized based on the client’s preferences and needs. She focuses on helping individuals who are struggling with emotional dysregulation due to stress, trauma, or other life difficulties, and she works with them to build effective coping strategies and emotional resilience.
Nicole sees adolescents, and will also see children 8+, teens, and adults 18-30 years of age. She will soon be in-network soon with Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare/UMR.
