Bri is a clinician in training and a graduate student working towards her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at Ponce Health Sciences University- St. Louis. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a focus on Social Science from the University of Central Missouri. She also received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Missouri- St. Louis.
Her clinical experience includes an internship at Behavioral Health Response where she worked with various ages doing crisis intervention. As a suicide crisis counselor (in training), she has worked with disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. She is dedicated to continuously learning and improving her skills to better serve those in need.
Bri has seen firsthand the power of therapy and support in helping individuals find hope and resilience in times of crisis. She believes that everyone deserves access to compassionate and effective mental health care. As she evolves as a clinician, she hopes to continue to expand her knowledge and skills in the field of clinical psychology. Her goal is to become a licensed psychologist and work with individuals experiencing mental health issues, providing them with the support and therapy they need to lead fulfilling lives. She is passionate about helping others and is dedicated to making a positive impact while growing alongside her clients. She is excited to continue her education and training at Ponce Health Sciences University, where she can further develop her expertise and contribute to the well-being of her clients.
As an intern, Bri is able to offer services at a discounted rate of $55/session. Bri is supervised by Dr. Laura Chackes, Psy. D., Licensed Psychologist #2006027463, who can be reached at lchackes@mindfulstl.com and will be overseeing care for all of Bri’s clients.
