Caitlin is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), where she also earned a Graduate Certificate in Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Disability Studies from Truman State University. Caitlin is also a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) and has received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
Caitlin works to provide authentic care by recognizing the whole person and their intersecting identities. She specializes in working with adults (18+) facing life transitions, relationship challenges, relationship OCD, gender and sexual identity struggles, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, grief, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Caitlin is dedicated to supporting all populations, namely the LGBTQIA2S+ community, veterans, veterans’ families, and survivors of sexual trauma, and domestic / intimate partner violence (IPV). With training in suicide prevention and Safe Zone practices, she continuously seeks to create inclusive, healing spaces. Believing therapy is a collaborative journey, she tailors interventions to meet each client’s needs, empowering them to find their voice. Caitlin looks forward to welcoming anyone ready to start their healing journey!
