Tana is a Licensed Professional Counselor at The Center for Mindfulness & CBT. She has a wealth of clinical and case management experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in diverse settings, such as the Family Court, hospitals, school, residential, in-home, and in-office. Given this extensive experience, she has provided individual, family, group therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to treat depression, traumatic stress, grief, self-esteem issues, social skills, and school issues.

Tana incorporates multiple therapeutic approaches in her work with clients which include Solution-Focused Therapy, TF-CBT, and Client-Centered Therapy. She has a passion for working with young people particularly adolescents in middle and high school. Tana helps youth who struggle with relationship issues, social challenges and regulating their emotions to develop and understand the importance of healthy coping mechanisms to manage internal and external stressors. She enjoys getting to be a part of their journey to helping them identify areas of improvement and navigate challenging situations that can lead to positive change. She will soon be in network with Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, and UHC/UMR insurance plans.
