Mindfulness as A Tool for Living with Chronic Pain

A 4-week, in person class for adults living with chronic pain

Do you live with chronic pain? Are you interested in exploring new tools for coping with chronic pain? This course was developed to bring together people who live with chronic pain in a supportive environment where you can learn new coping skills, bond with others, and engage in new ways of navigating your chronic pain.

Each 2.5-hour class will include:

  • pertinent information related to using mindfulness to create support for living with chronic pain
  • instruction and practice in a variety of mindfulness techniques
  • handouts with instructions for home practice
  • small and large group discussions

Using mindfulness, we will co-create:

  • a safe and supportive environment for people living with the challenges associated with chronic pain
  • the opportunity to build connection, perhaps even community around shared experiences

This course is open to all; no experience with mindfulness is needed.
