The Center for Mindfulness and CBT is an innovative mental health and wellness center. Joining The Center means joining a dedicated and committed team of clinicians who are providing high-quality care using evidence-based approaches to psychotherapy.
This hybrid role will function as a therapist and clinical supervisor. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri for no less than two years, who is an approved supervisor or has the ability to become one.
This role has two main components: direct clinical care and clinical supervision.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Maintain full caseload of patients (25 per week)
- Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based treatment (CBT, DBT, mindfulness, etc)
- Conduct full-scale comprehensive treatment beginning with intake assessments through termination of care
- Complete timely documentation and treatment planning with measurable goals and objectives
- Measure patients’ progress for quality clinical results using assessment tools
- Monitor clinical goals and outcomes to ensure patient improvement
Supervisor Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to PLPCs and/or interns
- Review clinical case notes for accurate, appropriate, and proficient documentation
- Provide weekly supervision as determined by state of Missouri and/or school requirements
Requirements
- Fully licensed mental health therapist (Licensed Psychologist or LPC)
- State approved clinical supervisor or ability to obtain
- Must adhere to all industry legal and ethical standards
- Experience in providing evidence-based treatment
- Play therapy applicants encouraged to apply, but this is not a requirement
Who is this not for?
- Clinicians who do not want to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
- Independent providers who are not interested in a group practice setting
