The ART of Self-Compassion Summer Group for Girls Ages 9-11

A six-week summer course for female-identifying children ages 9-11 seeking to improve their self-esteem and increase their capacity for self-love.

Does your child struggle with self-esteem issues? Do they lack the confidence, resilience, and coping skills to consistently successfully handle life’s everyday adversities? Could they use some help preparing for the significant life milestones of the year ahead? The ART of Self-Compassion Summer Course can help.

This group will offer:

  • a safe space for your child to connect with peers struggling with similar experiences and concerns
  • an engaging, hands-on time to be creative and have fun with art and mindfulness-based activities
  • tangible tips and techniques for increasing self-compassion so they can learn to love their unique selves

The goals of this group are:

  • to provide participants tools to handle stress and adversity with increased self-confidence, resilience, and an individually tailored toolkit of coping skills
  • to increase the participant’s ability to utilize art and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques and positive affirmations
  • to boost confidence and increase self-compassion with evidence-based techniques
