Elizabeth received her dual master’s in social work and couple and family therapy from the University of Louisville. Elizabeth works with young children and youth struggling with anxiety-related disorders, OCD, behavior issues, adjustment issues, PTSD, and other trauma disorders. Elizabeth also works with couples, families, and co-parenting dynamics. Elizabeth’s goal when working with families and couples is to build healthier communication skills. Elizabeth is also interested in working with athletes of all ages To manage anxiety, increase mindfulness skills, and build self-esteem in relation to their sport. She believes that clients can be the vehicle for their own change but sometimes need extra support. Elizabeth uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness strategies, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Bowen family therapy techniques.
