Jon Kabat-Zinn

Kelsey received a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Assumption University in Worcester, Massachusetts and a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Kelsey specializes in working with adults and children ages 5-18. She uses a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed approach to support clients with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, Autism, life transitions, and school-related concerns.

Prior to joining The Center for Mindfulness & CBT, Kelsey worked for Youth in Need in the Lindbergh school district serving elementary and preschool age children and their families. During graduate school, Kelsey also gained counseling experience working with children, teens, and adults in community-based mental health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) settings. Kelsey is able to accept Cigna & Aetna health insurance plans.

Kelsey is supervised by Georgia Bomgardner, PhD, NCSP, Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist, MO #2023014699. Georgia can be reached at georgia@mindfulstl.com and will be overseeing care for all of Kelsey’s client’s.
