We are seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), or Psychololgists to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting psychotherapy with children and providing clinical supervision to Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselors (PLPCs), Licensed Masters of Social Work (LMSWs), Provisionally Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (PLMFTs), and/or student interns. This role is integral in ensuring high-quality care and professional development within our practice. A full time role (22-25 clinical hours and 1-3 supervision hours) will consist of the following responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Psychotherapy:
    • Conduct individual psychotherapy with children and adolescents presenting with a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns.
    • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the developmental needs and presenting concerns of young clients.
    • Prepare progress notes and treatment summaries documenting clinical observations, interventions, and client progress in a timely manner.
    • Provide feedback to clients and their families regarding treatment progress and recommendations, with an emphasis on caregiver involvement and collaboration.
  2. Clinical Supervision:
    • Provide weekly individual and/or group supervision to pre-licensed therapists and/or interns.
    • Be available to provide as-needed consultation for supervisees under your supervision.
    • Support supervisees in onboarding processes.
    • Provide licensed coverage for pre-licensed staff as needed. 
    • Guide supervisees in developing clinical skills, assessment and evaluation skills, ethical practices, and professional growth.
    • Review and sign off on clinical documentation and treatment plans as needed.
    • Ensure supervisees adhere to professional standards and organizational policies.
    • Attend supervisor meetings to discuss progress, policies, and goals as needed. 
  3. Collaboration and Consultation:
    • Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals within the organization.
    • Consult with external providers, schools, and agencies as necessary.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  4. Professional Development:
    • Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health and psychotherapy.
    • Attend and contribute to professional training, workshops, and seminars.
    • Provide training and educational presentations to staff and community as needed.
  5. Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
    • Contribute to the overall development and improvement of the practice by providing feedback and being a resource for other clinicians and practitioners.
