Structured, evidence-based support for kids, teens, and adults who need more than weekly therapy

The Center for Mindfulness & CBT now offers a specialized IOP designed for individuals who need focused, intensive care without stepping away from daily life. With age-specific programming and a multidisciplinary team, we provide treatment that is both personalized and research-based.
Features:
- In most cases, all sessions can be conducted either in-person at our office in Creve Coeur, or online via a HIPAA compliant virtual platform anywhere in the state of Missouri.
- You will attend treatment 3 to 5 days per week, totaling 9-15 hours of treatment per week. You will have some flexibility in the days and times that you attend, as we aim to make the schedule work without disrupting your life more than necessary.
- Your individualized treatment plan will be developed and updated by your primary therapist, who will see you for at least two hours of individual therapy per week.
- Your treatment interventions will be taught and practiced with the team of clinical interns and provisionally licensed therapists, who work closely with your primary therapist.
- You will attend group therapy with other patients in age-specific groups for kids (8–12), teens (13–17), and adults (18+) for added support and accountability.
- Your family and other support systems will be involved in your treatment to help transition you out of IOP as quickly as possible.
- We work closely with referring treatment providers, and work to get you back to seeing just your regular outpatient therapist as soon as possible.
- We use only evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Inference Based CBT (I-CBT), Mindfulness-based approaches, EMDR and DBT skills.
- We are in-network with most major insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, and United Healthcare/UMR.
