RO DBT Adult Group

An in person skills group for people struggling with over control - Chronic depression, anorexia, OCPD, treatment resistant anxiety and maladaptive perfectionism

RO DBT is an evidenced based therapy that targets 5 key areas that affect a persons quality of life: 

  • Highly detailed focus and overly cautious behavior
  • Rigid and rule governed behavior
  • Inhibited or disingenuous emotional expression
  • Aloof and distant style of relating
  • High social comparison

This is an ongoing, skills group where you will…

  • Develop effective strategies for accepting change and adapting to new situations
  • Learn healthy skills to develop strong relationships and improve current relationships 
  • Learn and practice healthy coping skills and positive social interaction techniques

 

This is an ongoing group, so you can join and leave at any time. The $50 registration fee covers your first session if you plan to pay privately or is held as a deposit if you plan to use insurance. When: Tuesdays from 5-6:15pm, participants can start any time
Where: In person at The Center for Mindfulness & CBT
Cost: $50 per session, most insurance plans accepted

Tamara Hoyt is a Licensed Masters Social Work (LMSW) at The Center for Mindfulness & CBT. She provides services for adolescents and adults 12 and up with anxiety, trauma, depression, eating disorders, OCPD and BPD.
