MBA, MA, CMPC, Clinical Psychology PsyD Student
Bianca Latham is currently a doctoral student at Ponce Health Sciences University–St. Louis in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a master’s degree in sport psychology. Bianca is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
Her education and clinical training have provided a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions. During her internship, Bianca hopes to expand her knowledge and application of CBT, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) while working with clients to overcome challenges related to OCD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Her background in sport psychology and mental performance also provides experience helping individuals manage anxiety, build confidence, regulate emotions, improve attentional control, and navigate high-pressure situations.
When working with clients, Bianca aims to create a collaborative, compassionate, and supportive therapeutic environment. She values helping clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, physiological responses, and behaviors while developing practical skills they can use in their everyday lives. Bianca strives to meet clients where they are, build upon their strengths, and support them in developing greater self-awareness, psychological flexibility, and meaningful change.
As an intern, Bianca is working with clients in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). She sees adults and older teens (15+). She is supervised by Laura Chackes, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist MO #2006027463, who can be reached at lchackes@mindfulstl.com and will be overseeing care for all of Bianca’s clients.
