Amy Powers

Hannah is a PLPC working under the supervision of Andrew Jovanovic. She graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling along with her Multiculturalism and Social Justice Certificate. She has a passion for working with people from diverse backgrounds and seeks to incorporate cultural humility into her practice. She has experience working in a variety of behavioral health settings, and completed her internship at the Webster University Counseling and Life Development Center.

Hannah views the therapy room as a library where the counselor and client use resources and stories to bring about change. She sees adult clients (18+) who have a variety of presenting concerns, including anxiety disorders, life transitions, relational concerns and trauma. Her therapeutic style blends connecting with clients through relational cultural theory, and using evidence-based techniques from CBT, DBT and Solution-focused brief therapy. She seeks to get to know each client on an individual level and work with them to reach their goals.

Hannah accepts most Cigna and Aetna insurance plans, and offers a lower self-pay rate of $120 per session, after an initial evaluation session billed at $135.  Hannah is supervised by Andrew Jovanovic, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor MO #2016040637 who can be reached at Andrewj@mindfulstl.com and will be overseeing care for all of Hannah’s clients
